Choosing the Right College/I'm so lost

Question
Well I am about to enter my last yr of high school and i'm COMPLETELY lost. My choices for furture careers are:

Singer
Ob/Gyn
Psychiatrist

I live in GA and I want to go to college either in GA or TX. But i really want to stay in GA b/c i lot of opportunities as far as singing is concerned has come up. So right now I"m stuck on what colleges to look at and what kind of programs and what I should be looking at in a college.

Those ^^ are my three choices for career plans. I know that I could have a connection for UGA as far as singing is concerned. And I know that Kennesaw is another option for singing.

And I know colleges such as Emory and Mercer are good in GA 4 pre-med. And colleges such as Baylor, Rice, and UT are good for pre-med in TX.

I have a 3.6 in high school right now. All Honors and AP courses since my 10th grade yr. I haven't done any kind of volunteering due to personal issues. And in my eyes I think I''m pretty much screwed for college.

So I'm asking what steps do I take now as far as getting in/ choosing a college??

Answer
I think you should probably consider UGA or Emory.  It sounds like you really enjoy singing and see the opportunities in Georgia to do that.  Both schools offer many majors from which to choose and I don't think you would be disappointed in either one of them.  If you are interested in something having to do with medicine, you can major in anything as long as you take the science courses you will need and do well in them.  Go online to both schools and fill out their online application.  Get working on an essay that you can use and get two teacher recommendations.  Take the SAT or ACT again to get the highest test scores you can get.
