Choosing the Right College/Selection of subjects in IB

Question
Dear Susie,
I have started my IB course with visual arts, english, maths, physics, french
ab. initio and economics, however I now want to switch my subjects from
economics to history. I wish to study either culinary arts or law in the future.
My question is whether the change will affect my career choice in anyway. Will
I be at a disadvantage, if I do not study economics right now, in any of the
two options?

Answer
I would not worry about your IB courses and how they will affect your career choices.  They won't.  The IB program is respected world wide and you can major in whatever you wish when you get to college.  Make the best grades you can because they are important.
