Question
i am a senior in high school and i am looking for a college with a division 2 football program and a good engineering program.
i scored a 1770 on my SAT(reading:530 Math:680 Writing:570)
a 29 on my ACT(Writing:30 Science:30 Math:32 Reading:25)
and i am in the top 25% in my class.
i would prefer staying close to Texas, but i am willing to travel.
can you help me.

You sound like a very balanced prospective student-athlete with an eye on the future. I commend you. That said, you have a number of variable that will weigh into your decision. A great resource is www.collegeboard.com. Use the college search function and plug in all the variables that relate to your potential college choice. You can include sport, division, academic major, geographic location etc. and the program will create a natural selection of potential "fits." From there it is time to roll up your sleeves and begin cultivating relationships with the coaches!
