Question
Hi,I'm a Syrian student, a highschool graduate with an average of 98% and particularly 96% in the last year, I love both physics and mathematics and have good knowledge of English.
My question is the following: Can I get a scholarship in an english-speaking country (us,uk,canada,...).
finally, i'd just like to draw your attention to the point that i have a considerable knowledge in calculus, ODE's and classical physics, even i have developed a proof of the existence and uniqueness of 2nd order linear 0DE's by finding explicit solutions...but my family is rather a poor one and can't fund me to study in a one of the important universities .
thanks for ur time

Answer
Almost all universities in English-speaking countries offer need-based financial aid.  If you need financial assistance, they will give it to you.  Most have self-help levels around $4,000 per year, which students need to earn through a job.  This does NOT include airplace tickets to and from Syria.  The rest will be a combination of scholarships and loans.

Check the individual websites for the universities to learn more.
