Is having a girl scout gold award carry any weight on a college application?
Hi Tina,
It could be a plus for you, especially if you are applying to smaller colleges that go beyond the usual GPA & test score when making admission and scholarship decisions. The private college I used to work at considered the Gold Award and Eagle Scout as real positives.
