-----Question-----
Hi,
My name's Bob, i'm 16 and i live in Greece. After finishing high school here in two years, i want to go to a US college. I'm a very talented basketball player and you can guess that i also want to be part of basketball team that plays in Division I. I'm going to study something between Sports Medicine or Nutrition, i don't know yet. So, could you tell me some good colleges and about how much money are needed for fees.
Thanks

I am suggesting a number of schools that might be good possibilities for your academic interests, as well as basketball.  I think you should go to their websites and find out more about each school and then contact the basketball coach which you should also be able to do on their website.  If you are good enough you may be able to win a scholarship.  A lot of these schools would probably cost around $20,000 a year without a scholarship.  Here are the schools:

Colorado State University
Florida State University
University of Dayton
San Diego State University
Purdue University
Ohio University
Miami University in Ohio
Michigan State University
Iowa State University

Well, obviously i cannot afford that much. $20.000 are a lot of money. I don't even think my father earns that in a year. How am i supposed to pay so much.

What i really want now is some introductory info like how can i get a scholarship, grant or any kind of financial aid.

Also, what is undergraduate and graduate are supposed to mean? In which of these am i included?

Thanks a lot,
Bob

Answer
If you are a good enough basketball player, you might be able to earn a scholarship or grant which could pay for your college education.  That is why you need to look at these schools and contact the basketball coaches.  You would be an undergraduate student.
