Question
I'm currently trying to get into a criminal justice academy in Fairfax, Virginia. But the one thing that challenges me is im not smart, im opposite to smart. But i want to go to police academy so bad, but some people tell me that i have to be smart to get into police academies. Is that true? If it is, what should i do?

Answer
Before you determine whether you are intelligent or not, you should see if there is an academic entrance exam to the police academies. Typically there is. Take the test. The absolute worst thing that can happen is that you do not pass. The best thing is, of course, that you do pass.

And, yes, they get so many applicants that they can pick and choose based on intelligence, athletic ability, and more. That does not mean that you should not apply. Try!
