About Holly Expertise I can help you determine what kind of college would be best for you if you are having trouble deciding. I have knowledge of many of the schools in this country, as well as a good sense of what type of school fits what personality. If you tell me about yourself, what you do for fun, how you like to study, how important you rank academics, and other information like that, I can help you decide what kind of school would be best for you.
Experience I am a current college student. I am absolutely enthralled with my school, and I had many choices to pick from, and feel that I made the best choice for me. I have some friends who have transferred to different schools after their freshman year, and I know and understand some of the pitfalls of being happy at different types of schools.

Question Hi. My name is Allison and I'm a senior in a high school in North Georgia. I'm having trouble deciding on a college major and which school to attend next year. I am a hard worker and academics are very important to me. I am a "family" person, so I think that I would like to attend a college close to home, so I could visit often or commute; however, I also love to travel and I don't know if I should go somewhere away from home. I've attended a smaller high school and I've had smaller classes over the years. I enjoy this because I can talk to the teachers one-on-one and ask questions. I want a job working with others. I also love to do things using my creativity. My entire family is teachers, but I don't know if that's what I want to be. The only things that I've considered in education are a U.S. History teacher or a counselor . I've looked into jobs such as, physical therapist, psychologist, foreign language translator(as a minor), and something in the medical field. I know that there is a lot more out there, but I don't know what's right for me. I've visited Young Harris, a private 2 yr. college. I am going to visit North Georgia College, Kennesaw State University, and several others around North Georgia. If you could help me in anyway I would greatly appreciate it. I really need some advise being the indecisive person that I am lol. Thank you.
Answer Well I don't know the colleges in the Georgia area very well at all. If academics are important to you I would suggest a 4-year college so you cna get a full degree and have a better footing for your start in life. It sounds like you would probably prefer a smaller college, such as a liberal arts college, more than a large school. I don't think I know enough about you to help you with a major, but know that most people don't have their major solidified when they head into school freshman year, so there is nothing wrong with not being sure what you want to study.
If you want to ask me any other questions, feel free.
