Yeah that is a great start. Is there a ranking of these by academic excellence, either by school or even better by their human geography departments?

-----Question-----
Hello Susie--My stepson wants to go to Vassar because it is a small, liberal arts school with a human geography department. His grades put him in the running but he is not a shoe-in so I would like to have some alternatives to suggest to him. How would I find a list of schools that meet his criteria?

Thanks,
Kevin
-----Answer-----
I have a list of some schools that might be possibilities:
Bucknell, Wittenberg, University of Denver, Trinity University, Colgate, Hamilton, Ohio Wesleyan, Clark, Denison, and Villanova.  Hope this gives you a start.

Answer
I would consider them all very reputable schools, but I would suggest your stepson check out their websites and look in particular at their geography departments.  He could also email the schools and ask for more information on the major and courses offered.
