Expertise
I can help you determine what kind of college would be best for you if you are having trouble deciding. I have knowledge of many of the schools in this country, as well as a good sense of what type of school fits what personality. If you tell me about yourself, what you do for fun, how you like to study, how important you rank academics, and other information like that, I can help you decide what kind of school would be best for you.

Experience
I am a current college student. I am absolutely enthralled with my school, and I had many choices to pick from, and feel that I made the best choice for me. I have some friends who have transferred to different schools after their freshman year, and I know and understand some of the pitfalls of being happy at different types of schools.

Choosing the Right College - Major in Math education

Question
My daughter is a sophomore, she is very good at math and chemistry, she will take calculus and AP chemistry in her junior year, she scored 1200 on SAT when she was in 8th grade. She wants to be a math teacher, what would be a good school for her to study to become a math teacher and yet keep her option open for possible chemistry related career? She will also take honor physics, and French 4 in her junior year.
Thanks for the advice in advance.

Answer
Ok, the thing is, math and chemistry are great at a lot of schools, and particularly, it is not hard to find a school that has both a good math and a good chemistry program.  Additionally, as only a sophomore in high school, it is likely that she may change her mind about what she wants to do after school, and should go to a school based more on what she enjoys studying than what she thinks she wants to do afterwards, because there is a close correlation between the two but the latter provides a safer bet for her happiness than the former.

In any case, what I mostly wanted to say was that this really isn't enough information for me to help her figure out what school to go to, because there are SO many schools that are good in those areas.

Good luck, and feel free to ask me if you have more questions,
Holly
