Question
Ok im having trouble deciding my college major first off.  I like to work with computers and technology and computer programming, but i am also interested in video game design which is my favorite choice. But the problem is that video game design doesnt make as much money as computer programming, but i would be happy with either one.

My other question is that if i choose computer programming or game design would it be better to choose a technical school like ITT tech (in which getting assosiate degress, 2 year college)  or should i go for state colleges like UK or WKU (i live in northern kentucky on the outskirts of cincinnati)  What do you think would be best for my college experience and what are some colleges that offers these majors around my area?

Your help would be very much apprieciated

Answer
Computer programming is probably an area that would give you more opportunities, but you don't usually need to decide on a specific major until your sophomore year of college.  A few schools that you might look into that offer good programs would be:  Miami University in Ohio, University of Dayton, Rockford College in Illinois, and Ohio Wesleyan.  Go to their websites and see if the school appeals to you.  Check out their computer majors.  Request information so you have it to look over.  You should be looking for a school where you can get a good education and have a good overall experience.  I also think a college experience in invaluable compared to a technical school.
