Question
I have scored 2010 on the SAT (reading 580, writing 710, math 720). University of California Berkeley is my number one choice, my extra curriculars are quite good( soccer, projects, culturals , social service....).Can I get into the University Of California - Berkeley???

Answer
I would say that you have a good chance, but your reading score will concern them because colleges require a lot of reading and feel that many high school students are not up to that challenge.  You need to get a College Board book of SAT tests and practice this summer on the reading section only.  Berkeley will take your 710 and 720 from this test, but will want to see something higher in the reading on the test in October.
