Choosing the Right College/catholic school

Question
hello and thank you in advance.  this may sound like a stupid question but i am a sophomore in high school and i would like to know some few things about catholic schools
and liberal arts schools
1.  i am an asian and would it be weird if i was to attend a catholic school?  (i am not catholic) and can i even get in one?

2.  also, what does liberal arts mean?  i really have no clue and if you could help me out, i sure would be greatful.

Answer
1. I don't think it would be weird at all. Catholic schools can no longer exist if they only accept Catholic students. While Catholics will, by far, typically be the largest group, they will most assuredly not be the only group. All things being equal, my guess is that you could get in.

2. See:

From one website:

Liberal arts education provides an individual with a broad, well-rounded education that includes the humanities, mathematics, sciences, and social sciences. It is the type of education we associate with the college experience, and the very essence of what it means to be an educated person.

I hope that helps.
