Question
Hi,
Honestly , I am going to study Computer Engineering , I have to find a 2 year -college , then transfer to another university , but the problem is All most all colleges don’t offer Computer engineering program . So , What  program should I take in college order to be able to transfer to university in Computer engineering major ?
Appreciated , Thanks !

Answer
Gibran,

Honestly my best advice is to find a 4 year college that offers computer engineering right away to start at so that a transfer is not needed. With financial aid some 4 year colleges have a similar cost to 2 year colleges unless you plan on living at home. Assuming that you want to start at a 2 year college to save money I would suggest investigating financial aid at some appropriate 4 year schools.

That is the best solution but if for some reason that won't work then my next suggestion is to find an appropriate 4 year college with computer engineering and contact a professor in that department. Explain that you need to start at a 2 year college but then would like to transfer to their program. Ask for his suggestions on what courses would be best to take to help prepare for a 4 year degree in computer engineering. That should give you better advice then I could since my background is not in computer engineering.

Do some checking before you write off a 4 year college to start. I have a page on my website talking about financial aid and how it works and that might be helpful. That address is

I hope that helps.
