hello sir/mam,
i m a student of mechanical engineering, i applied for m.s in aerospace engg. for the fall08 till now i have recieved conformation/acceptance from iit, chicago and embry riddle i m very confuse which university to choose as both have different rankings as one has the good ranking's in best phd's list universities and other is no.1 in the best college category.
please help me decide which college to choose.

With a master's degree in aerospace engineering your future will be bright whichever school you choose.

All three can be great options, so you may want to look at some non-academic factors- which is most affordable, where do I want to live while in grad school, what climate, setting will be best, which has more opportunity for jobs after college, etc.

Of the 3 you list, U of Chicago has the most prominence, but IIT is also known for being good, and E-R has a niche as an aviation specialty school. So, all good choices.
