QUESTION: hello.  i looked into u. of maryland and learned that they have a 100 percent acceptance rating. why is this?
what is good and bad about this school?

ANSWER: I don't think you read the figures correctly.  Last year the University of Maryland accepted just 49% of its freshman applicants.  It is a good large university in a nice location, but the classes are big and quite a few are not taught by professors, especially in the first two years.  It is diverse and has a lot of school spirit.

The University of Maryland University College is an online university so anyone can take courses there.  I am an expert on colleges and universities where students take classes on a campus, but not on virtual universities. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful.
