AnswerHi Todd,
When we volunteered for this category, we wondered whether the questions would be serious or satirical. Sometimes it is difficult to discern, therefore we treat all questions as serious until we are told otherwise.
In order for us to answer your question, perhaps you could explain in what ways do you feel that you are "too Jewish"? Christ was, by birth and culture, a Jewish person. The Pentateuch and the other Jewish scrolls which form the Christian "Old Testament" were about Christ. Even the 1st century Pharisees understood this although they rejected Christ as being the fulfillment of those prophecies. Many of his parables are more clearly understood within the context of Jewish culture as opposed to other cultures. By "too Jewish", are you referring to Judaism's emphasis on "traditions" rather than faith?
As for "loving Christ", that is the result of coming to understand the extent of his sacrifice for each of us.
We shall be happy to discuss this further if you wish to expand your question so that we can better understand what you are asking.
Sincerely,
Mel and Guyna
