Question
QUESTION: I'm trying to find a Christian song from the early '70s. I don't know the group or the title of the song, but remember some of the lyrics. It is a fun song about Moses.
It starts out:
Moses was tending his sheep one day
when he heard a burning scrub brush say
take my people from Pharaohs hand
lead them to the promised land..
Moses knew God was talking to him
so he left off for Egypt with vigor and vim...
It goes something like that from what I remember, but it has been a long time ago! Can you help me?

QUESTION: Thank you LaZeric! That is the right song, but I heard it performed by another group or someone else. I know someone else recorded it because it was on an LP. Do you have any idea who else recorded it?

I'm sorry Greg. The only other version I can find is this very old one. And I'm not sure if it is the exact same song:
Rev. J.M. Gates, Vol. 4: 1926 [IMPORT]
There is a cover album of Larry Norman tunes (One Way: Songs of Larry Norman), but that song doesn't seem to be included. I'm sorry I couldn't help you further.
