Hello, is it possible to get the CD for this album, its from the 80's I AM and i think there is also I AM II. Mainly jewish worship music.

Initially when you mentioned "Jewish worship music" I thought of the Messianic band "Lamb" from the 70's http://www.lambmessianicmusic.com/lamb_04_lamb_mn.html I own their CD "Lamb Favorites" but after looking thru the CDs for sell It was obvious Lamb was not the band. So I googled messianic music, "I am" record 1980.. And found the records you speak of!

The history of Messianic Jews is quite interesting, in a nutshell they are Jews who believe Jesus is the Jewish Messiah. While on the surface it's easy to say they are Christians, technically they are not because they keep the Jewish traditions like Passover and Hanukkah. Many don't celebrate Christmas or Easter.

Anyway as Christian (Jesus) music evolved from Rock 'n roll in the late '60s so did Messianic music. To add to the confusion much Messianic music, like Lamb, was sold in Christian Book stores. "I am" and "I am 2" while it is in Hebrew is Christian because it was produced by Maranatha Music, A Christian record company.
Sadly, "I am" and  "I am 2" are out of print and I doubt it will be offered as an MP3 on Itunes anytime soon.


But.......a compliation is coming to Amazon very soon!(It says April 26, 2011, that's tommorrow, how weird is that?)
