I had a old hymn that came into my mind...I have one of the lyrics.  Can you please identify it by title?

Leaning, leaning, leaning on the promises of God

I think you've got two hymns put together there.  First, is "Leaning on the Everlasting Arms".  The word promises is not in this hymn.  The other hymn is "Standing on the Promises of God".  You can find the words and listen to them both on www.cyberhymnal.org
