Question
What is a Christain to you ?
Do you believe Jesus is God ?
Do you believe the only witness of the Holy Spirit is speaking in unknown tongues ?
Do you believe our world is greatly mislead because of false prophets ?

Answer
Dear Theresa,

A Christian is a person who has made Jesus their Master and are trusting in His death to take away the power and penalty of their sins.

I believe "in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Only Begotten, Begotten of the Father before all ages, Light of Light, True God of True God, Begotten, not made, of one essence with the Father, by Whom all things were made." (The Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed)

I do not believe that the only witness of the Holy Spirit is speaking in unknown tongues? See my article: http://www.jayforrest.net/cd/speakingtongues.htm

Yes I believe our world is greatly mislead because of false prophets. In fact, they have been with us since the days of the apostle John, "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world" (1 John 4:1).

Thank you for your questions and I pray that you are blessed in your pursuit of God.

Your servant in Christ,

Jay Nelson Forrest
