Dear DEWnada,

I hope you could help me. I'm a writer working on a creative piece about angels.

I want to know if Azrael is a real archangel. According to wikipedia, Islam confirms it. But I wonder what does Christianity have to say about him- is Azrael the Angel of Death?

Further, where can I find the names of the rebel angels that fell with Lucifer according to Christianity? At this web address, a person gave the answer that Lucifer had a personal team of 7 warriors that included Asmodeus, Lillith and Molloch. each tradition in christianity will have its own names for the archangels.
i follow the coptic othodox tradition. see:

the book of enoch is the best source for the names of the angels who fell with lucifer.
it is  jewish apocalyptic literature and accepted by certain christian traditions.

as for the judeo-christian name for the angel of death:
Death as a sentient entity is a concept that has existed in many societies since the beginning of history. In English, death is often given the name the "Grim Reaper" and from the 15th century onwards came to be shown as a skeletal figure carrying a large scythe and clothed in a black cloak with a hood. It is also given the name of the Angel of Death (Hebrew: מַלְאַךְ הַמָּוֶת‎ Malach HaMavet) stemming from the Bible.
