Question
Dear Dr.Jay

Yes Yes Yes! This is what I was looking for someone to believe me on what I see. I have God in my heart. Jesus is the main center in my life. Awake visions are visions seen when one is awake and conscious of one's surroundings. In other words, an awake vision is one that is received while one is not asleep or in a trance. In one sense awake visions could be considered normal visions, for they are visions experienced in a normal state of mind (Numbers 24:4, 16; Acts 10:17).  Is this the one that Mary came to me in the cemetery and St. Michael.
Night visions are visions received while one is asleep. The Bible also refers to them as dreams. But the Bible clearly teaches that dreams are nothing more than vision received while asleep (Genesis 46:2; Job 4:13; 20:8; 33:15; Isaiah 29:7; Daniel 2:19, 28; 4:4, 9; 7:2, 7, 13; Acts 18:9). Night visions are also called dreams. But not all dreams are visions. This is because not all dreams have spiritual significance. Night visions have a basis in spiritual reality, regular dreams do not. Just because you have a dream does not mean that it is a vision. The dream must have spiritual significance in order for it to be considered a vision. I have had several visions in dreams, the one characteristic of them all is that immediately after I have them I have an inward certainty of their significance. I know that they were not just ordinary dreams. An is this the answer to the biblical dreams that I have is it also essential to name your children after saints or characters of the bible? I want to do that. But that is when I am older like in my late 20s.

It also appears that dreams are more common in the Bible than awake visions as you say. This has been explained that when we are asleep we are more susceptible to the spirit world.  When the sun gets dark as a sign of Christ return is that going to be global and will every eye see the sun get dark and will the moon really be turned to blood. What is really going to happen on July 7 of 2007 7/7/07 because I heard that is a symbolic meaning of cross. An that a biblical prophecy is suppose to take place I am going to Puerto Rico that same day. Is something good suppose to happen that day like a revival or a revelation from God. Will we really hear trumpets in the sky when the heavens open? Is america really a temporary Promise Land for christians to be safe from the World war three that is to come? Was Jesus Catholic? Cause Catholicism means Universal. He said that he founded a Universal church. And how do you know if satan is decieving you? Is Puerto ricans hebrew descent? What tribe are we from I am Puerto Rican  West Indie. Yes I have a lot of questions I just want to know the truth and not the false.

Answer
Hi Jacqueline,

So many questions, I will try to answer them all.

Yes, the one that Mary came to me in the cemetery and St. Michael was an awake vision.

As far as your night dreams, it could mean that you should name your children after saints or characters of the bible. That really is for you to discern.

Your end time question are harder to answer. As far as sun getting dark and the moon turning to blood, I would guess that an eclipse will be what covers the sun and the moon will look red like blood.

As far as what is really going to happen on July 7 of 2007, I guess we will see on July 7. But my guess is that it will be just another day. Our calendar is really rather new and is not the same as the Jewish calendar. It is the year 5767 for them, and that is a much older calendar than ours.

No, I don't believe that America is a temporary Promise Land for Christians to be safe from the World war III that is to come.

Yes, Jesus was Catholic. He founded the Catholic Church. But you must understand that the Church is both an organism and an organization. By organism I mean the the Church is the body of Christ and includes everyone, Protestant and Catholic, who have repented and believed in Jesus Christ. By organization, I mean the churches that have apostolic succession.

Next, you ask if Satan could be deceiving me. If that is so, then he has deceived the whole Church from the very beginning. See, I have built my faith upon the Bible and Apostolic Tradition. If the Bible and the early church fathers have deceived me, then there is no Church of Jesus Christ. I, however, am fully convinced that we can trust the inspired Scriptures, the early church fathers, and the decisions of the seven ecumenical councils.

Next, you ask if Puerto Ricans are of Hebrew descent. My guess is that the answer is no. But, honestly, this is a question beyond my expertise. I simply don't know for sure.

Yes, you do have a lot of questions. And I am please that you just want to know the truth. I am glad if God has been able to help you in your pursuit of him.

Your servant in Christ,

Jay N. Forrest
