Question
Dear Jay,

Hi I am a raised Catholic young woman. I am very spiritual. I had several unusal experiences in my lifetime. One: I was praying for 45 mins on Sunday night on Pentecost back in 05 I had five large planters warts I couldnt walk it was killing me it felt like rocks in my shoe. I had a virus in my left foot, I cried out to Jesus and said Lord have mercy on my heart and soul please heal me Jesus I believe in you. Then I glanced to the right and saw Jesus walking in the white heavenly clouds His cloths became white he smiled and his aura was as bright as the sun Gold color. He said because of your faith you have been healed and he litterly touched my left foot I was blest with speaking in tongues. The next day my Jewish doctor couldnt believe his eyes. He had to cancle the surgery. He said its a miracle! Two: I saw the Blessed Mother at a cemetary and she said you are my daughter whom your generation is blest she smiled at me and left. Then I see my guardian angel its St. Michael. Also I have biblical dreams  about the lord Jesus Christ his glory days on earth to the Passover and Crucifixion! What does this mean am I chosen of God to see  this am I a saint? I am 21 years old I have been seeing this for four years now. I am very religious.

Answer
Dear Jacqueline,

If you have given all your heart to God, I would consider you a saint. The Bible refers to all true believers as saints. To be a canonized saint is another matter.

Concerning your spiritual experiences, they seem to be real. However, I would suggest that you find an older woman to be a spiritual mentor and help you in your walk. You should also read St. Teresa of Avila, for she is a very wise mystic and may be of considerable help to you.

You might also read my article on dreams and visions:

I hope that helps you on your journey into the heart of God.

Your servant in Christ,
