Hi,
I have been battling severe depression for past years. Recently it got so bad that I can't work or even get out of my bed. I want back my that cheerful and lively self. Kindly send me a guidance of light to clear my mind, thanks.
Also, a question in mind:Gnostic Christianity affirms reincarnation rather than resurrection.Do we go into heaven if we merely believe in Jesus? Does this mean devotion to other religions like Kabbala/Buddhism won't lead you to heaven?

Dear Clement, Child of God,

Thank you for contacting us for intuitive/spiritual insight into your questions.

It is with regret that we find you battling with sources that should remain foreign. God's will is for everyone to be happy and healthy in *all* respects. When a person feels less than they should and it affects them to the point that you are describing, of course it is time to seek professional help. Along with that, one must also keep in mind that we, ourselves, many times bring in things into our "house" (being) that will have an adverse impact upon our well-being. Therefore, an examination of conscience would be in order so that you can know what it is that troubles you to the point that you are in your present state. I will be glad to offer prayer for you.

Please know that God is ever merciful thorough His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ. If you reach out to Him in heartfelt prayer, He will hear you. Know also that when conditions like the one you are describing come about, it may be there due to a lesson to learn from it. Jesus is merciful and mighty and can help you with this when you pray in the silence and ask for guidance as to how to revert to a dynamic, healthy you! You deserve to be well and happy and God is there to see that you are if you but seek Him out and follow His plan.

As to your second question: Among different religions there are different schools of thought concerning reincarnation. In Christianity, as we know it from Jesus, there is no reincarnation. Jesus *Resurrected* after three days, He did not reincarnate. He still has His original Mother Mary and always will. He has not and will not take on another set of parents as other religions may believe people do. Jesus was crucified, died and was buried then Resurrected. His mission was/is to Save people from sin and He accomplished that through His holy sacrifice.

Scripture tells us that in order to get to Heaven we must become BORN AGAIN. That is, completely give our life to *Jesus* and start anew, leaving our former sinful life. There is a prayer I would be glad to send to you in that regard. It is also important to go to a church and receive Baptism both by water and by The Holy Spirit. A person who gives their life to Jesus and accepts Him as the Only Begotten Son of God who became flesh to Save us, becomes Saved.

"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from  the presence of the Lord; And He shall send JESUS CHRIST, which before was preached unto you:" -- ACTS OF THE APOSTLES 3: 19-20 (KJV)

"And they said, BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be Saved, and thy house." -- ACTS OF THE APOSTLES 16:31 (KJV)

Of course, if one was to ask if there is another way towards Salvation other than Jesus the answer would be no.

"Jesus saith unto him, I Am the Way, The Truth, and The Life. No man cometh unto the Father but by Me." -- JOHN 14:6 (KJV)

As to devotion to other religions and whether or not they will lead one to Heaven is not for me to answer. There is only ONE true God within the Holy Trinity: God The Father, God The Son (Jesus Christ) and God The Holy Spirit. Only God through His Son Jesus Christ can be the judge of whether one who knows better but still prefers to have other "gods" before them will get to Heaven. Jesus has told us HOW we can get to Heaven as in the Scriptures given above. Therefore, it is up to us to carry out that Plan of Salvation for ourselves, to invest in Saving our own soul and spirit and to assure that we will get to Heaven by accepting Jesus Christ. I personally cannot understand why there are people who would not say a simple prayer to accept Jesus, knowing that that is the way to Heaven. But some indeed prefer to be disenfranchised from Jesus and Heaven and that may be what they get due to their free will choice that God gives each and every person. Personally, I *want* to go to Heaven and will most assuredly get there as a Born Again Christian and the way to get there is crystal clear. BELIEVE In Jesus Christ and accept Him into your life. The cost if one does not? Their soul and spirit (and that's for eternity). Therefore, what could be simpler, while there's still time, to assure that one indeed will get to Heaven!

Thank you for your question, Clement. May God Bless You Always and may you be surrounded by His Eternal Love and Omniscient Light!

Please let me know if you would like to become BORN AGAIN, if you are not already, and I can send you a most special prayer to help you! Thank you very much for the opportunity to serve Jesus today through you! We *always* Praise and Honor His most Holy Name!
