Question
QUESTION: Do you think that masturbation is a sin or is wrong?

ANSWER: Greetings, in the name of Jesus,

To answer your question, in a way, to allow you to answer this question yourself..let me explain better what sin is.

Sin, in basic biblical definition, Is simply, disobedience to the known will of God, in a more full way, we, as christians, simply must become "LIKE" Jesus, (in body, spirit, soul and mind.)

Have you seen the saying lately "What Would Jesus Do?" (wwjd)
Well, that, is what every converted and born-again christian
must answer for his/her own self, decisions in our everyday life.

Now based upon what I just told you, go ahead now, and answer
your own question..ok? First ask your self this, would Jesus do
what you wish to do (being holy and sinless and pure?

QUESTION: I don't think that Jesus would do something like that.So does that mean that I should not do it then?A lot of people tell me that it's wrong and some tell me that it's right? But is it in the BIBLE though. And also, what is your opinion on it?

ANSWER: I thought I answered your question fully...
It doesn't matter what I think...
what does matter is what does God thinks etc.

It is not specifically written in Bible...

all you do, is question yourself...being PURE and HOLY

WOULD JESUS DO THIS ??

QUESTION: There is another expert on here(I won't name any names.) and he tells me that I am not saved. He says that you must be baptized to be saved and I am baptized but he says I was too young to remember it.What exactly does it say in the BIBLE of how you can get saved?
I thought I was saved because I accepted Jesus as my personal saviour.I said that sinner's prayer.I believed that He is the Son of GOD.I asked for forgiveness of my sins. And I asked Him to come into my life twice.
Isn't that the right way to be saved?

Answer
Hello again,

The practice of Baptism is actually an outward action, based upon an inward act, already done.  In other words, based upon an action taken internally/spiritually (Your action of acception of Jesus, the christ, spritually inside you, as your LORD and savior).
There are numerous passages on how to be saved, I will give you here, maybe two. I seem to like these best:

Rom 10:9     That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Rom 10:10    For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

You know what?  Instead, lets just stick with these two...

This is one of the reasons why so many are confused about salvation.

Most preachers and teachers, only tell you one-half the the whole truth of the matter.  They preach only the part of asking Jesus to come into their heart as a SAVIOR only...they either don't know or understand the other half, which is the LORD part of it.  Look at the first passage above carefully.

"if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus"
(This is the Lord part)

What is a LORD?  A Lord is more or less a master and/or king
A Lord/master/king does what?  He Lords over us.  or is a king over us. One that rules over us plain and simple. And we must OBEY.

So, in other words (biblically speaking) Jesus is now a Lord and master over us, when we accept Him as such, and as such we must then OBEY Him.  So every command He gives us in the bible, must be obeyed from that moment on.  We must repent of all known sin, in other words, STOP all sin, stop the practice of sin.
This is the reason of the next verse or passage saying:

"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

Think real hard about what I just said, carefully study each part of it. So in a sense, what that other expert said is correct (in a small way)
in that you were too young to fully understand what you were doing at the time...and therefore you are not truly/genuinely saved, as yet.
You were not taught the whole truth of the matter...till now. And therefore need to accept Jesus the correct way...once and for all.

I hope this helps...

Expertise

My main expertise is in Prophecy. I have a B.A. degree in Religion and Church Ministry from a school for Prophets, out of Jacksonville, Florida. I am also quite versed in the Bible as a whole. I am a non-denominational Christian, due to my belief that God never meant for different denominations... there is ONLY one religion (as the word of God says). I consider this to be an excellant way to witness the glory of God to others, and to further His Kingdom, and purposes...before the soon return of His Son, Jesus.
