Question
Hi, im really struggling to be close to God to feel his presence. And I need some direction from him. I so desire to do his will and to grow closer to him. I just cant seem a open door to move forward into. I know I am a sinner and i need to pick up my cross every day. I just don't know which way to turn.
Thanks for your time.
yours in Christ

Answer
First of all, you must sincerely seek Him with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.

Pro 8:17      I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

Jer 29:13      And ye shall seek me, and find [me], when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Isa 51:1      Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock [whence] ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit [whence] ye are digged.

Isa 55:6      Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

Isa 58:2    Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.

This means to study His word (KJV) thoroughly, and endlessly...because His word )the bible) IS Him.

Then once you are up to it, you must pray constantly as you study. And the last step is to Pray and FAST for at least 3 days.  They say at the end of the 3 days, that your prayer is most powerful, and therefore, can receive answers more quickly.  Once you are in tune with His Spirit, He will then be much more clear to you.

Hope this helps
In His Service, and Love
Bro.  Kit

Expertise

My main expertise is in Prophecy. I have a B.A. degree in Religion and Church Ministry from a school for Prophets, out of Jacksonville, Florida. I am also quite versed in the Bible as a whole. I am a non-denominational Christian, due to my belief that God never meant for different denominations... there is ONLY one religion (as the word of God says). I consider this to be an excellant way to witness the glory of God to others, and to further His Kingdom, and purposes...before the soon return of His Son, Jesus.

Experience

B.A Degree in: Religion and Church Ministry from School for Prophets in Jacksonville Fl. Under the auspices of the Calvary Chapel Church of God
