Dear Phillip,

                     I have an issue what do you suggest if your friend is possessed by a demon? Why am I asking you this because last night my friend gave himself to satan! This is serious!!? I am scared for him, I was not going to let him feed into my fear! So What happened was I hear this strange hissing like noise from the phone my friend started to take his phone against the metal object and it was like a screeching sound like something out of a horror film and I suddenly feel this pressure on my neck.

I felt like I couldn't breathe so I stood there and pleaded for it to leave me alone and for it to get out of my friend's body, I asked for Jesus that if he can cast the devil out and whatever forces of holy light that could protect me to do so and the thing released its grip and vanished.

I calmly walked towards my mom and said crying my friend is possessed by devils. Every time I would talk to my friend Brian he would be okay and this happened twice I ask what his name was and he said Legion. I kept feeling like I was being watched when I was talking to Brian on the phone and I kept feeling tickling sensations around my throat.

The evil thing had a foul smell, like sulphur an scunk smell mix together it was nasty.I was having a bad feeling before going to sleep last night, so as a christian I took the rosary and wore it all night to protect me. It was founded by St. Dominic through Jesus our Lord.I made sure I calmed myself down before trying to go to sleep.

I knew my mind would play tricks on me, thinking I might have seen something go by my bed or something like that. SO I said a prayer and a Guardian angel prayer. Then the ST. Michaels prayer. I have known Brian for about 10 years and he was not himself last night. What happened?

I've had asthma since I was real small. I was a skinny kid growing up. But I just want my friend to have faith and be strong in Christ. He said that he is the ruler of Hell what is going on Phil. I need help.... Then I said Brian you need help he then said in a dark voice that was not HIM We dont need any help. And he hung up.

What the heck is going on? Phil help me out I told my mom he isnt faking his voice or he isnt going crazy he is possessed I know he is. HELP ME PLEASE. For the sake of Christ please help me.....

While demons are real, and demonic possession is also real, a demon cannot posses a believer in Christ. A believer that allows demons to influence them into fear is not being obedient to the Lord Jesus Christ. It sounds as if you are trusting in your rosary protect you. I can tell you that there is no power in the rosary. Scripture actually condemns the use of any symbol to take the place of our Lord. The rosary is not a tool of the Lord.

As for Brian, there are two issues. One, he cannot give his soul to Satan. If he is not a believer in Christ, he is already condemned, according to Jesus. His soul is in need of redemption through Jesus Christ. If he chooses not to receive the free gift of Eternal Life through faith in Jesus Christ, then that is his choice. You cannot make his choices for him. Two, he may indeed be playing tricks on you. There are many movies that he could have been imitating. He cannot be "legion", as Christ Jesus Himself, destroyed Legion in the herd of swine.

It appears that you have an issue with these types of things. May I suggest that there is much paganism involved in the things that you are telling me. It appears that you are Roman Catholic, from some of the things you have mentioned. In some cultures, Roman Catholicism has blended with the pagan cultures in the countries they have entered, only to make Roman Catholicism a blend of RC and the pagans. That happened in Mexico, where the witch doctors were actually ordained as RC priests. The people had fear of the witch doctors, and the end result was that the RC priests/witch doctors had a greater power over the people. I tell you that, not to run down the RC, but to warn you to the dangers of mixing Biblical teachings and paganistic teachings. It appears that you have allowed that to happen in your life, and until you are able to renounce the paganistic system of religion that you are entangled with, you will always have these fears.

The Jesus of the Bible is God's only begotten Son, and He alone can calm all of your fears and release you from the bondage that you are in. The fears that have come upon you can be released by the Lord Jesus ALONE. Trust in Him and find the peace that surpasses all understanding.
