Christianity -- Christian Living/Innocence?
Expert: Phillip Senn - 1/25/2009
QuestionWell all I told him was that I live in the U.S,I was smart enough not to tall him the state at least. He lives in England,Oxford to be exact. But he keeps wanting a picture of me,naked at that.I'm not going to give him a picture of course,he could end up making kiddie porn out of it or something. But he was really nice.I don't know if I want to stop but I don't want him to stalk me so I should stop.Maybe I Should go talk to GOD about this too.But what do you mean that I have lost a lot of my innocence?
AnswerCGLLR,
Whether or not you want to stop, you MUST. This is a sexual addiction in the making. It is just as much an addiction as alcohol or drugs. If you don't want to end up with even deeper problems than you already have, you MUST STOP. You need some accountability with an older adult, preferably a parent, when you are on the Internet. Ask them to put a filter on the computer. Your parents have been given to you by God as a means of protection. Don't allow anyone to remove that layer of protection from you.
What do I mean by, You've lost a part of your innocence? You have allowed you mind to be corrupted by pornographic thoughts and images. The Scriptures say to "flee fornication". The term used for fornication here is the same word that we get pornography from. The Scriptures also say to "flee youthful lusts". These are things that the mind has trouble with even if you are an adult. As a 13 year old, you have even more reasons to be protected from this type of information. Run from it, as fast as you can. Your spiritual, mental and emotional well being depend on a proper response. Run from it.

Simply tell him you can no longer talk/chat over the Internet. The relationship has been built on the wrong concept for a Christian. It is time to end it NOW!!!
