Christianity -- Christian Living/moderation

Question
pls, what do you know about moderation in christian living.

Answer
I really have no idea what is meant by moderation in Christian Living. The Apostles, Jesus, and all of the other Christians were called upon to be committed even unto death. The Apostle Paul even sensed the urgency to live a totally committed life to Christ, to the point that he said he was willing to be cursed to Hell to see his brethren come to Christ.

Peter, before the resurrection of Christ, and even some time afterward, until he was convinced of the resurrection, lived a moderate life for the Saviour. But after the Holy Spirit came upon him, he had a new hope, and this empowered him to live for Christ.

We are called to be disciples. A disciple is one that commits himself/herself to listening to, and following, the directions of the Lord. Not all believers fall into this category, and so those that have trusted in Christ, and are not yet committed to Him, I suppose could be said to be living a moderate Christian life.

Expertise

I seek to help Christians in doctrinal matters. Many Christians think that doctrine doesn`t matter, yet the Scriptures indicate otherwise. It is my desire to share from the Word of God with those who have legitimate questions. As such, I cannot claim expertise, except that I will seek to answer from the Authority (the Bible). If I cannot find a Biblical answer, I may offer an opinion based upon my understanding of Scripture, or I will simply reply with an, "I Don`t Know".
