QuestionHow do you interpret John 14:21-23? If Christ has not 'manifested Himself' to a person, where does this leave this person, spiritually?
AnswerPassage John 14:21-23:
21He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
22Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
23Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
Salvation is the work of the Godhead comprising Father, Son and the Holy Spirit...
John 6:44

John 16:8
And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
The Son made the Ultimate sacrifice by dying on the cross for all sinners. It is on the part of the unbeliever to appropriate this gift of salvation. The ones who appropraite this gift in true repentance and faith are the "us" in John 14:22
