Question
Oh where to start. Well I got married in 2007 and committed adultery. I divorced my husband. I had asked Jesus into my heart prior to this but clearly never really took it seriously. I am currently still dating the man that i committed adultery with. After the first of the year something happened to me. All the guilt about all the sins i've committed really caught up to me and i've been thinking about hell a lot. I started going to church, and i read pretty much the entire New Testament in just over a week. I've admitted all of my sins to the Lord and have begged him to forgive me. I've stopped having sexual relations with my boyfriend, stopped drinking, and stopped swearing. I am trying my hardest to live a Christian lifestyle. My question is will God really forgive me for all my sins if i had asked him into my heart prior to all of this??? The Bible says that no adulterers will be allowed in the kingdom of heaven...what does this mean for me? Also is it a sin if i get remarried??

Answer
Greetings,in the name of Jesus, the christ...

Please read and study very carefully the chapters in 1st Corinthians...

1Cr 7 and 8, ...it is these laws that we are concerned with on marriage.

As for your forgiveness of the sin of adultery, if you have repented and stopped
practicing adultery, never to do it again...then yes you are forgiven.

Hope this helps, and sorry for taking so much time to reply to you, I've been
very busy lately.

in his service, and love
Bro. Kit

Expertise

My main expertise is in Prophecy. I have a B.A. degree in Religion and Church Ministry from a school for Prophets, out of Jacksonville, Florida. I am also quite versed in the Bible as a whole. I am a non-denominational Christian, due to my belief that God never meant for different denominations... there is ONLY one religion (as the word of God says). I consider this to be an excellant way to witness the glory of God to others, and to further His Kingdom, and purposes...before the soon return of His Son, Jesus.
