Question
From a young person's perspective, how would you answer the question:

" What is the bible for? "

Answer
The Bible is God's Word. It is given by God to man through men who have been chosen by God. He wants us to know what He desires for us, so He has given us His Word to tell us. The primary thing that the Bible tells us concerning His desire for us, is that we may come to know Him, believe in Him, and to believe in His Son Jesus Christ that we might have Eternal Life. God loves each and every person that have ever been born on the Earth, and the Bible is His message of love for all. It points out the errors of man and the punishment for those that will be judged by Him after this life is over, unless they come to receive forgiveness through believing on His Son. I hope this answers your questions, without having been too technical.

Expertise

I seek to help Christians in doctrinal matters. Many Christians think that doctrine doesn`t matter, yet the Scriptures indicate otherwise. It is my desire to share from the Word of God with those who have legitimate questions. As such, I cannot claim expertise, except that I will seek to answer from the Authority (the Bible). If I cannot find a Biblical answer, I may offer an opinion based upon my understanding of Scripture, or I will simply reply with an, "I Don`t Know".
