Christianity -- Christian Living/Being Psyhic is a form of Witchcraft?

Question
Recently you answered a question about being a Psychic.  In that answer you wrote "being psychic is a form of witchcraft". I am not trying to say that your answer was incorrect - I'm not sure if it is or is not.  The topic of psychics relative to Christianity is a topic I'm curious about and have not as yet taken sides on.  I would like to know where the bible specifies or suggests, as the case may be, that being psychic is a form of witchcraft.
Assuming that being psychic is a form of witchcraft what can we say about young children that seem to have psychic abilities?   Do we consider these children to be natural witches and therefore damned?  I ask because I began to see Spirits at the age of five (no one in my family pushed me in this direction).  I did my best to bury, hide and pray away these abilities in order to be a 'good Christian' -- the result is that in order to live what is a good Christian life I have had to learn how to, with discomfort, suppress what seems natural to me.

Answer
Greetings, in the name of Jesus, the Christ...

According to the site "dictionary.com"; a "PSYCHIC" is

psy·chic
–adjective Also, psy·chi·cal.
1.   of or pertaining to the human soul or mind; mental         (opposed to physical).
2.   Psychology. pertaining to or noting mental phenomena.
3.   outside of natural or scientific knowledge; spiritual.
4.   of or pertaining to some apparently nonphysical force or agency: psychic research; psychic phenomena.
5.   sensitive to influences or forces of a nonphysical or supernatural nature.
–noun
6.   a person who is allegedly sensitive to psychic influences or forces; medium.

In my study bible...being Psychic is being of or pertaing to witchcraft; which by definition also means DIVINATION, and divination is specifically mentioned  in alot of places in God's word, and means to "attempt to foretell the unknown by occult means"

here are the places:

Ezekiel 13:6-7;Acts 16:16; Deuteronomy 18:11-12; Leviticus 20:6,27; practiced by astrologers: Is 47:13, witches= Ex 22:18; wizards= deuteronomy 18:11 just to name a few...and you should know by now that witchcraft is definately forbidden.  So this should answer your question...doesn't it?

Expertise

My main expertise is in Prophecy. I have a B.A. degree in Religion and Church Ministry from a school for Prophets, out of Jacksonville, Florida. I am also quite versed in the Bible as a whole. I am a non-denominational Christian, due to my belief that God never meant for different denominations... there is ONLY one religion (as the word of God says). I consider this to be an excellant way to witness the glory of God to others, and to further His Kingdom, and purposes...before the soon return of His Son, Jesus.
