Question
I have a question that's not necessarily on a personal level.. but in general. The world's a corrupt place that is composed of the evil and sin commited by man (All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, as in Romans 3:23)- but why do things happen to innocent people? Does the Bible address this? For instance, why are children who have done nothing born with birth defects? I apologize if I am leaning off the topic- so, does what I'm asking have any relationship at all to Christianity & God's Holy Word?

Answer
Greetings in the name of Jesus,

The only way to answer this question, is the way I usally do.
It is not exactly biblical, but in its own way, seems to answer you...and others that ask this same question in the past.

Let me now ask you this...
how would we know happiness, if it weren't for sadness ?

Another thought would be this and I use this alot as well.

Think about this...

lets say that a hardened criminal happens to walk buy seeing a baby dying and no one can do nothing...but watch it dye.

This criminal doesn't allow anything to eneter its heart to soften it....EXCEPT seeing this dying baby. It completly
breaks his pride and ego allowing the Holy Spirit to come in and take over.  God knew this would happen this way...and allows this baby to die for the sake of anothers salvation.
WHY?  Cause God loves everyone and wants to save us all, not just a select few.  That baby is now in heaven not having to ever suffer again...it lives in complete and everlasting happiness...forever and ever.

Now does this help you understand better?  I hope so.

In His Service, and Love
Bro.  Kit

Expertise

My main expertise is in Prophecy. I have a B.A. degree in Religion and Church Ministry from a school for Prophets, out of Jacksonville, Florida. I am also quite versed in the Bible as a whole. I am a non-denominational Christian, due to my belief that God never meant for different denominations... there is ONLY one religion (as the word of God says). I consider this to be an excellant way to witness the glory of God to others, and to further His Kingdom, and purposes...before the soon return of His Son, Jesus.

B.A Degree in: Religion and Church Ministry from School for Prophets in Jacksonville Fl. Under the auspices of the Calvary Chapel Church of God
