There are many aspects of dispensationalism. I would suggest a reading of the web site at dispensationalism.com as it tells it from their own view. I would always caution against those that call themselves dispensationalists that are actually hyper-dispensationalists. The difference, as I see it, is that dispensationalists believe God deals with man in different ways during different eras. The hyper-dispensationalists believe that this also carries over into man's salvation and that God has changed his means of man's redemption over the ages. This is dealt with somewhat at the dispensationalism.com web site.
