In addition to the centralized administration or leadership of the Roman Catholic Church compared to the decentralized operations of the Episcopal Church, there is also a very large theological difference between the two churches.  The fact is the Roman Catholic Church believes that during Mass, after the consecration of the Eucharist, the bread and wine are no loner bread and wine but rather they have been changed into the true body and blood of Jesus Christ Himself, existing under the appearance of bread and wine.  On the other hand, the Episcopal Church believes that the bead ad wine continue to be just bread and wine and are merely representations of the body and blood of Jesus Christ.  This is a major difference between the Roman Catholic Church and the Episcopal Church, and in fact between the Catholic Church and ALL other Christian religions.

I will answer questions relating to the Anglican Communion, which is formed of various national Churches that often have "Episcopal" or "Anglican" in their name. Although I live in England I do know a reasonable amount about Anglican Churches in other countries as well, their history and their relationships with other denominations. The questions can be about organization, belief, practice and contacts.
