I met someone a while back.  We have been talking and it was nice.  I was working one day and one of my customers came out to greet me and said hello.  I had been praying all day about this person all day, silently of course, because I talk to God all the time.  I needed an answer or had hoped I would get one somehow.  Well a couple of hours later, this customer comes out and she looked at me funny and said you've met someone haven't you?  I said I had been talking to someone.  Well she invited me in to have a drink and cool down.  I am a walking mail carrier and had been doing this with this lady for about two years now.  She is pleasant and I know she is a Christian.  We talked about some pleasantries and I got ready to leave.  She looked at me really funny and said it will be a boy you know.  I said what?  She said the child, it will be a boy.  She went on to give more description and then went on to describe other things, such as my children and this man's child and this new child.  She said she just had a couple of pictures come up in her head with all of this and said sometimes she sees things, but they only come up once in a while.  She was very accurate about the details.  She asked to see a picture of this person and his daughter, and I agreed to show her one the next day.  She just wanted to see if this is what she had seen or if it was someone else.  I brought her several different pictures of this person and she looked at them all.  The one she said she wasn't sure about, and it did look different from the others, but the other two she picked up on right away and said that it was him and that was the little girl she had seen as well as my two children, which she already knew what they looked like.  She told me things would be very rocky at first with this person, as far as getting on the right track, but once we did it would be okay.  He is out of the country right now and I had not told her this, but she said he would have a very difficult time getting back, but once he did things would work out and not to panic, but be patient.  Things are going as she said, though I don't rely on what she has said, but could this be God using someone to answer prayer and give me a head's up?  I know God answers prayers and questions in different ways and uses people in all different manners.  But she is not a fortune teller, does not get paid and she says she only catches glimpses once in a while.    I haven't asked her anything and she hasn't offered anything, but told me that I have to be patient and that i need to relax, it will come, not to force anything.  It seems so ironic that I had been praying so hard about this, when two hours later, this came up.  I know Satan cannot read one's mind and hear one's prayers when you are quiet, so I guess I am at a loss here.

Yes it is possible that she was used by God....but be very careful with this person. It is taught in God's word, that in the final days (and we ARE in those days), there will come soothsayers and the like, claiming to be prophets. Please be very careful. Study the word of God on what it says concerning tests of prophets.
