Question
Dear Brenda:
I would appreciate very much if you please shed some light on the following:
1. The tetragrammaton is supposed to be consisting of “Yod Hei Vau Hei.” The first person singular number “I Am That I Am” becomes the third person “He Is That He Is.” Sticklers for accuracy of the full name of I AM find the concluding pronoun "hei" missing from Jehovah or Yahweh. The following quote made me think so.
“Indeed, if we pronounce it, as is commonly done, ‘I am that I am,’ laying the emphasis on the two verbs, and without any emphasis on the pronominal article that, it will not appear to have any grammatical propriety. But let an emphasis be laid on that, which is here a most emphatical word; and another emphasis on the concluding words I AM, which are still more emphatical, because they are the name by which the Deity is here pleased to make himself know; and the passage will be found to be both intelligible and sublime” (Beattie 1783, 219).
2. 2. Yahweh: "As regards its form, the word appears to be the third person singular imperfect of the archaic form havah" (Ottley 1905, 30).
The first person singular speaks of himself: as I AM. The Third person singular is spoken of, or described as: He Is. The Second person singular has the speech directed to him, and is supposed to be present as: Thou Art. These three names are as distinct in sense as in form. The apostles and disciples of Christ were sensible enough when Christ was in their company not to address Christ (Second Person) as Yahweh (O He), the third person singular. We invoke the Ever-present Creator as Second Person and not as Yahweh, the Third Person Singular.
Thank you.

Answer1.THE TETRAGRAMMATON IS SUPPOSED TO BE CONSISTING OF “YOD HEI VAU HEI.” EMPHASIS ON THE CONCLUDING WORDS I AM, BECAUSE THEY ARE THE NAME BY WHICH THE DEITY IS HERE PLEASED TO MAKE HIMSELF KNOWN"
Archaeologist Gabriel Barkay found written material. “Two small silver scrolls, in a group of burial caves on the slopes of the Hinnom, The Divine Name that clearly appears in the inscription is composed of the four Hebrew characters written in ancient Hebrew script, YOD-HE-WAW-HE” This was the first time Jehovah’s name was found in an inscription discovered in Jerusalem.
The divine name is a verb, the causative form, the imperfect state, of the Hebrew verb הוה (ha•wah´, “to become”). Therefore, the divine name means “He Causes to Become.”
“I AM” is not in God’s name, it is an attempt by Trinitarians at supporting their unscriptural dogma of the Trinity.
They endeavour to connect the expression with Exodus 3:14, where, according to their renderings, God refers to himself by the title “I Am.”) Some even using capital letters to convey the idea of a title.
Correct rendering of Exodus is—“At this God said to Moses: “I SHALL PROVE TO BE WHAT I SHALL PROVE TO BE.” And he added: “This is what you are to say to the sons of Israel, ‘I SHALL PROVE TO BE has sent me to YOU.’
2. YAHWEH: "AS REGARDS ITS FORM, THE WORD APPEARS TO BE THE THIRD PERSON SINGULAR IMPERFECT OF THE ARCHAIC FORM HAVAH" (OTTLEY 1905, 30).
Jehovah, defines the Most High and Lofty One as a God of purpose and activity, for it is drawn from a word of action, the causative form of the Hebrew verb havah.
THE APOSTLES AND DISCIPLES OF CHRIST WERE SENSIBLE ENOUGH WHEN CHRIST WAS IN THEIR COMPANY NOT TO ADDRESS CHRIST (SECOND PERSON) AS YAHWEH (O HE), THE THIRD PERSON SINGULAR.
What nonsense!! They would never address Christ as Jehovah because; he told them on numerous occasions, he was only a creation,God's SON,he also tol them; his Father is “greater than he is”
Let me ask you this; if Jesus is God then who was Jesus praying to?
Also if Jesus was God, who resurrected Jesus back to life, himself?
The notion is so ludicrous it defies logic.
All the best
