Question
What calendar was used for the old testament of the Bible?  What calendar was used for the new testament of the Bible?  (and what all, is the answer based on?)

thank you in advance.

Answer
Allen,

The Hewbrew Calendar was the calendar used, based upon a Luni-solar system.

See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hebrew_calendar

The New Testament Calendar would have been the same for most of the early years, but at times may have borrowed or commonly referenced the Roman (Julian) Calendar.

Most people today use the Gregorian Calendar.

Hope that helps!

Peace,
