Christianity--Church History/birth of Christ prophecy

Question
Pastor Gade:

I was watching Christian TV and heard something I have never heard before.  When Christ was born; a wife of Ceasar(?) wrote a  phrophecy, "that a child had just been born..." and proceeded to prophecy the life of Jesus and all about Him and what He would go through and what He would do.
Do you know what this was?  That she was prophesying the transfer of power from the Roman empire to the new rule?

'Dont know if I got that all correct but I just heard it.

Thank you.

Answer
Leah,

Do not give any credence to what you heard about such a prophecy.  There is no evidence that "a wife of Caesar" wrote about the life of Jesus. The only Roman woman who had anything near to a prophecy was the wife of Pontius Pilate who told her husband that she had a dream about Jesus and that he should have nothing to do with Him.

If the TV station (or program) which aired this account called itself "Christian TV", you might want to be careful about believing anything that they teach.
