Hi Brenda (and thanks to anyone who replies)!  In another post of yours you mentioned the bible contains no mistakes or errors and is completely accurate throughout.  Many Christians believe that the bible is the word of god and is inspired completely from god and therefore, as you said, contains no errors or else it would only be natural for us to disbelieve the bible. Even such things as numbers are believed to be true (i.e. living to 800 years old or earth made in 7 days, etc.).  What then do you make for the hundreds of recorded contradictions, as found at this website here: http://www.infidels.org/library/modern/jim_meritt/bible-contradictions.html#intr...

There are no contradictions, only SEEMING contradictions, each of these mentioned have a logical explanation, as I have looked at them all over the last 30 years.

for instance--the earth was NOT made in 7, 24hr days, in fact the universe & planet earth were created an untold number of years ago.

Mankind however is just over 6,000 years old.

we can go through the contradictions one by one if you like.
