Question
Hello Brenda,

You mentioned in one of your previous answers that Adam only lived to be 130 years. If he was the first and 'perfect' creation, why did he not live much longer? What was the cause of his death? How long did Eve live?

Thanking you in advance,
Michele

Answer
Hi Michele, Actually Adam lived till he was 930, he was created to live forever, had he stayed faithful he would still be alive today.

Living forever however was dependant on obedience, Adam was told; "in the day you eat from the tree you will die"

A "day" with God is a "thousand years" so Adam died within that "day".

the bible doesnt say how long Eve lived.

So then had Adam remained "perfect" he would have lived much longer, in fact forever.

all the best
Brenda

I love to study and have made a point of finding out all there is to know about Early Christianity, how it was founded, and why, what happened after it was established, where it all went wrong, and why Christianity is struggling today.Having been a protestant I can give you its history, and now being one of Jehovah`s witnesses I can give you its history also.

Experience

I have been speaking to people about this for over 30 years so that has given me experience.
