Question How is Christianity a continuation of the Judaism? A break from Judaism?
What do Christians believe seperates Jesus from other holy teachers of religion? How is he similar to other founders of religions?
What are the chief rites, rituals, and symbols of the Christian faith?
Answer Jesus came to fulfill the Scriptures (aka the Old Testament concerning the Messiah)..as He says in the Gospels. Basically Christianity is an extension of Judiasm since the Jews were waiting for the Messiah...Jesus came (as the Messiah) and thus fulfilled the prophecy to save mankind from sin (His death upon the cross).
Unfortunately not all Jews believed or had the grace to believe and so they continued the Jewish faith to this day.
As to the difference of Jesus compared to other teachers of religion. Jesus is God Himself Incarnate. In other words, Jesus is Divine. Both God and Man. He is the Third Person of the Holy Trinity. Unlike the founder of Islam aka Mohammed who is only a man, Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit within the womb of Mary (a woman) and took human form in order to save mankind. It is a mystery and at the same time something to be awed upon..that God would lower Himself in the form of man in order to show His love and mercy for us.
Since your questions are actually quite complex and would take a full reading of the Bible as well as some basic lessons in Christian doctrine I'm going to give you some links that should answer your questions thoroughly and with more resources to study:
