Christianity--Church History/Homosexuality as a sin

Question
Although the subject is much in the news these days, my question is NOT about homosexual marriage, but rather about homosexual thoughts and/or acts.

We now know through scientific studies that a tendency toward at least such thoughts is often inherited; also, MRI scans of homosexual people have revealed that they have somewhat different brain structures.

Given this information, are you aware of any denomination of Christianity that no longer doctrinally declares at least homosexual thoughts to be a sin?

Answer
I have heard of such studies but not that there has been any consensus among scientists in that field to agree with what you have heard.

As far as you question is concerned, there are a number of denominations which have some of their constituents objecting to the Bible's statements that homosexuality is included in the listing of sins.

The denominations in the news who are arguing over the matter are the Presbyterian, Anglican and even some Lutherans. However, I don't believe that any major denomination has gone so far as to change its "doctrine" concerning  homosexuality.
