QUESTION: Hi Brenda,
I did not even consider that you are a lady and do not intend to send the question to a specific gender. I will appreciate if you will still be able to assist.
Kind regards

AnswerYou may recall that Jesus said: “This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.” (John 17:3)
In saying this, Jesus was not being boastful. The Scriptures repeatedly emphasize the need for accurate knowledge of Christ. (Ephesians 4:13; Colossians 2:2; 2 Peter 1:8; 2:20) “To [Jesus Christ] all the prophets bear witness,” noted the apostle Peter. (Acts 10:43)
And the apostle Paul wrote: “Carefully concealed in [Jesus] are all the treasures of wisdom and of knowledge.” (Colossians 2:3)
Paul even said that all of Jehovah’s promises come true because of Jesus. (2 Corinthians 1:20) So Jesus Christ is the very key to the knowledge of God.
Jesus Christ plays a central role in the outworking of God’s purposes.
We first read of Jesus in Genesis 1;26,(God said to Jesus, let us make man) then the first ever prophecy written was regarding Jesus (the seed)in Genesis 3;15.
This is the entire theme of the bible from Genesis to Revelation, the "seed" of God's Kingdom; by means of Jesus, God will fulfill his purpose for the earth.(Hebrews 2;14)
"The Lamb (Jesus), who is in the midst of the throne, will shepherd them, and will guide them to fountains of waters of life. And God will wipe out every tear from their eyes.” (Rev. 7;17)
If you have any more questions, I am happy to help.
