Question
Brenda
What do you think of this 'discovery?
Was Jesus raised bodily into heaven? Why would he need a body then?
Maybe it was his ghost that came back to the Apostles.

Answer
LOST TOMB OF JESUS?

Never heard anything about it, to be perfectly honest.

WAS JESUS RAISED BODILY INTO HEAVEN?

Not his fleshly body no, he had given that in sacrifice & couldn’t take it back again, Even as to death, Moses and Jesus were alike. How so? Well, Jehovah removed Moses’ body, thus preventing men from either profaning it or idolizing it. (Deuteronomy 34:5, 6; Jude 9) Similarly, God disposed of Jesus’ fleshly body, not allowing it to see corruption and thus preventing its becoming a stumbling block to faith.—Psalm 16:10; Acts 2:29-31; 1 Corinthians 15:50.

WHY WOULD HE NEED A BODY THEN?

Because spirit beings dwell in heaven, so Jesus was given a spirit body so that he could go back to heaven. Also, coming to earth as a man was only a part of God’s purpose, the final part is when Jesus comes a second time to destroy wicked mankind & bring the earth back to a paradise as God intended.

MAYBE IT WAS HIS GHOST THAT CAME BACK TO THE APOSTLES.

No such thing as ghosts, the bible tells us “the dead are conscious of nothing at all”. Jesus appeared in many different bodies so that the disciples would believe he is resurrected.

All the best

I love to study and have made a point of finding out all there is to know about Early Christianity, how it was founded, and why, what happened after it was established, where it all went wrong, and why Christianity is struggling today.Having been a protestant I can give you its history, and now being one of Jehovah`s witnesses I can give you its history also.

Experience

I have been speaking to people about this for over 30 years so that has given me experience.
