Hi Elder Greg.

My friend asked me this question and being a newly born again christian i couldn't answer him.

Here's what he asked me.

If Adam and Eve made Cain and Able. Then who made all the rest of the people on earth?
Surely Adam,Caine and Able did not have sexual relations with Eve ! ! !

Ray,

Thanks for your question. It is one that has puzzled many for years. First let me assure you that Cain and Able did NOT have relations with Eve. Though the answer is not specifically given in Scripture, it does indicate that there people populating the Earth.

Gen. 4:16-17
And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.  
And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.  

Adam and Eve had three sons (Cain, Able, and Seth), but apparently there were other sons and daughters also born to them who's names are not listed.

Gen 5:1
This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;  
5:2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.  
5:3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:  
5:4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:  
5:5 And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.  

People before the flood lived hundreds of years, and in that time they produced many offspring. And these children, because there was no one else, married each other. These was allowed at this time because of necessity, but was condemned later as the Earth was more populated
