Question
i'd just like to know the difference between a baptist church and all the other christian churches. What do the baptist teach their children.

Answer
Since baptist churches are often very different from each other, there is no answer that can be given.  Baptist churches have a wide range of teachings from one to the other.

Most have in common that they believe in full immersion in water for baptism.  But many other denominations practice baptism by immersion also.

Another thing they often have in common is double predestination and that once a person is in God's grace they will always be in God's grace.  But, again, other denominations believe and teach that too.
