Can you give scriptures in the Bible where it states that man should not lie with man or womam with woman or where it says that being a homosexual is wrong?

Thank you for your question. Before I give you the Biblical Scriptures that state that homosexuality is wrong, I would first like to say this. That homosexuality, like adultery (or any other sexual sin), is a learned behavior with which the sinful nature of men can be lead into.

Homosexuality (like any sin, or sinful act)can be forgiven in Christ, and the lifestyle can be left and in its place a proper relationship with the Heavenly Father can be reestablished by the Spirit of God.

In the Old Testament, God clearly gives instruction that homosexuality is forbidden.

Leviticus 18:22
You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.

Leviticus 20:13
If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.  

Then in the New Testament, God once again establishes His disapproval of homosexuality. Though now, the punishment of death is no longer in force (Jesus paid for our sins upon the Cross), the sin itself is still condemned.

Romans 1:26
For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.  
1:27
Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

1 Cor. 6:9
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

Effeminate is the Greek word malakovß meaning...
"soft, soft to the touch/ of a male who submits his body to unnatural lewdness"

Finally Catonya, while homosexuality is clearly described as a sin in Scripture we must understand that God hates all sin – including all sexual sin. God will hold the homosexual no more guilty of sexual sin than He will the fornicator, adulterer, … according to 1 Cor. 6:9-10.

I gave my heart to the Lord a few months after being married during a revival meeting. A few weeks later I received the baptism of the Holy Ghost, and I have not been the same since! In those twenty five years we have only attended one church (Harvest Church), and there I have served there as an Elder for fourteen years. We minister in song with the choir and worship team. I am also the new member’s class coordinator, men's ministry director, and the Harvest Riders motorcycle ministry president.
